Community Outreach
Sharing help and hope
Generation S.O.S. is committed to taking our message of empathy and peer support to youth organizations nationwide.
Generation S.O.S. has initiated a series of ‘Black Lives Matter’ meetings addressing the overwhelming drug crisis in the Black community. Young black adults share their painful journeys of addiction and struggle to survive in their community.
BBYO-Manhattan provides social, leadership, and community service opportunities for Jewish teens in the Manhattan region. Generation S.O.S. recently partnered with BBYO/Manhattan on two events and look forward to many more.
Generation S.O.S. has partnered with Grand Street Settlement’s
Project Speak Out Loud! a peer education program supporting queer youth of color ages 14-24.
In 2021, Generation S.O.S. held four, simultaneous Zoom meetings ( Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12) for the Eleanor Roosevelt High School in Manhattan. Virtually all 560 students participated, many saying it was the best “advisory” they ever attended.
